About the Association for Child Development

The Association for Child Development is a nonprofit organization that educates parents and caregivers about nutrition to promote the development of children and establish healthy eating habits to last a lifetime. We are the largest sponsor of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) in the U.S., sponsoring Child Care Providers in the states of Michigan and Illinois. We work to promote our mission through this and other child-centered nutrition and physical activity programs.
